Comforts and conveniences are slightly increased on the RTS trim, as compared to the basic RT. The 4WD system has a locking rear differential and operates with Variable Torque Management, meaning that it monitors each wheel for signs of slippage and then responds with the appropriate change in torque distribution. Adding to the Ridgeline's versatility is a lockable trunk hidden below the cargo floor. The design of this 8-5-cubic foot area is very clever it can be filled with ice and used as a cooler, thanks to a drain plug at the bottom that can be opened when the party's over.
